Not everything fits into a pregnancy course. That's why we organize individual theme evenings. One evening about a topic you want to know more about. Practical, honest, and always plenty of room for questions.
📍 The New Mom Club, Huizen
🔄 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
☕ Including coffee, tea, and something sweet
👥 Small groups
Each theme evening is led by Rosanne, a midwife and ultrasound technician with over 10 years of experience.
Theme evening: Cutting vs tearing
Cutting or tearing... what is actually better? And can you influence it yourself?
During this evening, you will learn how the pelvic floor works, when a cut may be necessary, how to possibly reduce the chance of tearing, and how to recover optimally after childbirth.

Theme evening: The first 40 days
The delivery is over. And then perhaps the biggest change of all begins.
During this evening, we prepare you for the first weeks after childbirth. You will learn about physical recovery, emotions, postpartum blues, expectations, visitors, rest, and how to take good care of yourself.
Theme evening: Cesarean section and recovery
Are you having a planned cesarean section? Or is there a chance you might have to deal with this?
You will receive practical information about the surgery, recovery, scar care, movement, lifting, nutrition, and how to prepare as well as possible for this special delivery.

Theme evening: Baby and sleep
How much should a baby actually sleep? And what is normal?
You will learn how sleep develops, why babies wake up so often, how to create safe sleep, and what you can and cannot expect in the first months.

Theme evening: Pelvic floor after childbirth (sex, sports, urinary incontinence)
No one really talks about it. Yet almost all parents deal with it.
An honest evening about recovery, hormones, desire, pain, intimacy, and how to regain trust in your body and your relationship together.
Theme evening: Hormones after childbirth
Why do you feel great one day and completely overwhelmed the next?
You will learn what hormones do in the first months after childbirth, why emotions can fluctuate, and how to recognize signs of normal adjustment and when it is wise to seek help.
